Email, alerts and AI
All of these are off by default. Their options are under Settings → Weekly email & alerts. Send it to takes one or more addresses, separated by commas; left empty, it uses the site admin email.
Weekly email
Switch on Send a weekly summary for an email every Monday morning:
- the last seven full days compared with the seven before: page views, visitors and goal completions;
- top pages;
- how visitors found you: top search terms, new referring pages, cities that grew and the bot share;
- anything worth fixing: broken internal links, frustrated clicks, script errors and slow pages.
Send me a test of the weekly email under Settings → Status sends you one now.
Alerts
Switch on Alert me when something jumps for an email the morning after something moves far from the usual, compared with the week before. Nothing is sent on a normal day.
| Alert | When it is sent |
|---|---|
| Traffic fell | Less than half the usual daily page views, on a site with at least 50 a day |
| Traffic jumped | More than three times the usual, on a site with at least 20 a day |
| Script errors | At least 10 errors and three times the usual, or a new error seen 5 times or more |
| Broken links | At least 5 and three times the usual |
Tell me about new referring sites adds an email when a site that never sent visitors before sends three or more in a day: a new link, a mention or a review worth knowing about.
Check yesterday for alerts now runs the check on demand.
AI Assistant
With the AI Assistant active, you can ask about the numbers in plain words:
- "Which section of the home page loses mobile visitors?"
- "Why is nobody clicking the pricing button?"
It reads the same reports you see, with every section and element named as it is in the builder. It can only read them, never change anything, and it answers only for someone allowed to see the reports.
