Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This policy covers the Unyson+ documentation site, docs.unysonplus.com. It is short because the site collects very little.

What we collect

Visit statistics, through StatCounter. Every page loads a small StatCounter script so we can see which pages are read, how visitors find them, and which browsers and devices they use. To do that, StatCounter receives your IP address, the page you visit and the page that sent you, your browser and operating system, screen size, and the time of the visit. It may set a cookie to tell new visitors from returning ones. StatCounter processes this data for us; see StatCounter's privacy policy for how it handles it.

We use these statistics only to improve the documentation. We do not sell them, use them for advertising, or combine them with other data to identify you.

Server logs, through GitHub Pages. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub records technical information about requests (including IP addresses) for security and operations; see GitHub's privacy statement.

What we do not collect

  • No accounts, logins or sign-ups.
  • No forms on this site; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
  • No advertising or advertising trackers.
  • The search box runs entirely in your browser; your searches are not sent to us or anyone else.

Your choices

  • Block cookies or scripts in your browser settings, or use a content blocker: the documentation works fully without StatCounter.
  • Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you may have the right to ask what data is held about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Because we hold no data that identifies you, such requests about visit statistics go to StatCounter.

The documentation links to other sites (GitHub, plugin pages, tools). Their own privacy policies apply there. Downloading a code example from this site is a plain file download; it sends nothing back.

Children

The site is a technical manual, not aimed at children, and knowingly collects nothing from them.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Questions: open an issue on the Unyson+ GitHub.
