Search performance

SEO → Search performance shows how each page is doing in Google over the last four weeks, from your own Search Console data, and, more usefully, how that changed against the four weeks before.

Column
ClicksVisits from Google, with the change (+12 in green, −8 in red).
ImpressionsHow often the page appeared in results, with the change.
Click-throughClicks per hundred impressions.
PositionThe page's average position, with the change: a positive number means it moved up.

Three lists, 25 pages each:

  • Gaining: more clicks or impressions than before.
  • Slipping: fewer. Before changing a page, look at Topic momentum: if interest in the topic itself fell, the page is not the problem.
  • Seen but not clicked: at least 200 impressions and fewer than 1 click in 100. The page ranks; its title and description don't make people choose it, and those are what the page's SEO box edits.

Each page name opens its editor.

Limits

  • Pages with fewer than 50 impressions in both windows are left out: at that size a change is noise.
  • Google publishes Search Console data two to three days late, and the figures are kept for six hours.
  • Needs Search Console connected; without it the screen says so.
